About me

Hi my name is Oral Laurie, I'm a local aboriginal artist from the Widjabul/wia-bul Lismore area. I'm also from over the Clarence River as well. I grew up in Lismore, Yamba and Evans Head.

I've been painting for over 20 years. It's a cultural passion that has been passed down to me through my Grandfather and father. I love to paint with a lot of colours in my painting these days, which you'll see in a lot of my pieces. I usually paint a lot of old Tribal Men but i have been doing a lot more animal totems in the last few years.
